My name is Agnieszka and I am a breeder of Sphynx cats and a certified cat behaviorist.
Cats have always been with me – both domestic cats and purebred “furry” cats. However, when I saw a sphinx for the first time, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It was love at first sight. At first, I was only delighted with the photos and absorbed every bit of information about the breed. When I first touched a sphynx – I was completely lost. I knew I had to have a cat like that.
Then, completely by accident, Kosmo appeared in my life – a sick, several-week-old sphynx kitten from a pseudo-breeding facility. His treatment took a huge amount of time, energy and resources. It was thanks to him that I learned the most – about cat diseases, diagnostics, treatment and the realities of veterinary work. I met many wonderful doctors… and a few whom I avoid at all costs. Kosmo became a symbol for me – an example of how cruel and unethical animal breeding can be without control and responsibility.
It was then that the need for change was born in me. I wanted to have a real impact on what ethical, responsible and conscious breeding should look like. Breeding that puts health, well-being and education above all else.
I started by attending cat shows – initially as a spectator, to get to know the Sphynx breeders, their animals, the breed standard and judging rules. I wanted to make sure that my future breeding would be in line with the highest standards.
The next step was to register with a feline club and choose a breeding nickname – this is how Aggio Cat*PL. Soon the first breeding female cat joined us, and a few months later – a male cat from Russia.
Name Aggio Cat was created by combining fragments of my name and the name of my partner, who consistently supports me in the daily management of the breeding farm and care for our animals.
I began to develop my breeding knowledge by taking part in exhibitions as an active breeder – in Poland and abroad. I participated in numerous courses organized by feline organizations, clubs and training companies.
I completed an international course PawPeds, obtaining first and second degree diplomas, which confirmed my competence in the field of breeding and caring for pedigree cats.
Over time, I became more and more interested in the mental and emotional needs of cats. I graduated Studium Kot, gaining the qualifications of a Behaviorist with a specialization in "Cats". The knowledge I have gained allows me to better understand and support my animals - both adult breeding cats and their offspring.
Every owner who decides to adopt a kitten from my cattery receives lifetime free support – both as a breeder and a behaviorist. I want Aggio Cat kittens to go to loving homes that understand their needs and character.
Below you will find a list of the courses and trainings I have completed – constantly updated, because learning and development are a permanent element of my path as a breeder.
