Who is responsible for your data?

Contact and enquiries about cats

The contact forms collect your name, email address, message and, where applicable, the selected subject or cat. These data are used to answer your enquiry. The form asks for consent to use the information for this purpose (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Where your enquiry concerns entering into a contract, the processing necessary to take steps at your request before a contract is also based on Article 6(1)(b). Providing the information is voluntary, but without contact details we cannot reply. Sending an enquiry does not reserve a kitten.

Messages are delivered through the website’s mail system to the cattery’s email account. Hosting and email providers may process the data to provide those services. The website is hosted with Proserwer; the published contact address uses Gmail. We keep correspondence for the time needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting arrangements, and subsequently only as necessary for legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of claims. You may withdraw your consent by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out lawfully before it.

Technical operation and local visitor statistics

The server processes technical request data, including IP addresses and access times, for website operation, security and troubleshooting. The existing local visitor counter also stores IP addresses, dates and visit counts. It does not use the optional external Flag Counter cookie choice. These activities are based on the controller’s legitimate interests in operating and protecting the website and measuring its use (Article 6(1)(f)). Technical and statistical records are retained while necessary for these purposes; you may object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Cookies and the external counter

The website remembers your privacy choice for 30 days using cookie_notice_accepted and ac_privacy_v1. These first-party cookies are used to respect your choice. Administrative login and website security may require additional functional cookies.

The optional Flag Counter image and external statistics are requested only after you select “Allow statistics”. This sends request information, including your IP address and browser information, to Flag Counter. The counter uses the existing Aggio Cat*PL identifier and its historical statistics. If you select “Only necessary”, the external image is not loaded. The website and contact forms remain available.

You can reopen Privacy settings at any time and select “Only necessary” to stop further requests to the external counter. Previously transmitted information cannot be recalled by changing a cookie choice; third-party cookies already stored can be removed through your browser settings.

External links and service providers

Social-media buttons are links. External Facebook/Messenger and automatic Google Translate scripts are not loaded on public pages by this site. Fonts are served from our own hosting. Opening a link to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Flag Counter or another website takes you to a separate service with its own privacy policy. External service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. The terms, locations and transfer safeguards of those providers apply to their services.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and withdraw consent. You may lodge a complaint with the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych) or your competent supervisory authority. We do not use information submitted in the contact forms to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
